Serving One Another - እርስበራስ መረዳዳት
Here children are baptized — boys at forty days, girls at eighty. Here couples are married. Here the dead are given their full rites, and afterwards the congregation gathers in the community room to eat with the family and sit with them in their grief.
Once a month the mothers of the parish keep Mahber for Medhani Alem, the Saviour of the World, and for Kidist Mariam, the Holy Mother — taking turns to bring food, tella, and tej for the whole congregation. From the dues they gather, the parish helps carry its members through sudden expense.
Baptism — boys at forty days, girls at eighty. 
Kurban or Teklil — holy marriage before God. 
Making a promise of fidelity and love before God. 
The full funeral rites, prayed in the church. 
Funeral rites for a member of the congregation. No one has ever been refused. 
Sene Michael — the Tabot carried around the church, seen by the congregation once or twice a year.
